HIGHLIGHTS
BARCELONA – where we will visit the renowned Plaça de Catalunya, La Rambla, the Church Santa Maria, Passieg de Gracia and L’Eixample district. We will also see the Basílica de la Sagrada Família, Park Guell and Poble Espanyol – an open sky museum with many small shops that offer authentic leather, glass and cotton. We will include a tour to the ancient city of Gerona and the French border town of Figueras. Tour to the Monserrat Mountain – a symbol of Catalunya, with a visit to the old Benedictian Monastery.
MADRID – to tour the famous Plaza Mayor and Retiro, the Royal Palace of Madrid and a trip to Toledo (ancient capital of Spain). Tour to Avila and the Segovia – beautiful suburbs of Madrid. Avila is best known for its walls (in the UNESCO) and Segovia for aqueduct. We will also be entertained with a popular Milonga (Tango show). For our “shoppers”, we will be visiting some of Spain’s legendary shopping areas.
